It’s human nature to fear we are missing out. Since the advent of the internet, there is even a condition called FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) to describe why people are always checking their phones and computers for what others are doing.
It’s easy for us as Christians to fear we are missing out. Missing out on what our non-Christian friends have or are doing. Missing out on some special experience or knowledge of God. The Christians in Colossae had this same problem.
Today, the Apostle Paul takes us on a breathtaking tour of who Jesus is (Colossians 1:15–23). Rest assured, we are missing nothing at all. Jesus is supreme, he is sufficient.
In Christ, Tory.
