Community events this week: To God be the Glory!

After plunging the depths of God’s grace through his letter to the Romans, Paul finally breaks into a prayer of praise that God would be glorified forever! (Romans 11:33–36) God promises to save his people by grace. Let’s pray gracious God is glorified through our events this week:

10:30am Wednesday 27 July Kookaburra Court: Holy Communion Service: traditional hymns, prayers, Bible reading, and Lord’s Supper. 10:30am for morning tea, service starts at 11am.

6:30pm Thursday 28 July Ladies Christmas in July: St Peter’s Anglican Church Walgett. Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner with friends and hear some familiar faces share their memories and experiences of “Christmas: past and present.” Cost $5; RSVP on clip-board.

6:00pm Friday 29 July Colly Christmas in July: The Red Shed, Herbert St., Collarenebri. Includes Christmas dinner and pudding, entertainment, and a reflection on ‘Planning for Christmas!’ No cost. RSVP Dot Winter or Tory Cayzer.

6:00pm Saturday 30 July Men’s BBQ at Cryon: BBQ for all men at “Sefton Park” Cryon. Our speaker will be Warwick Stiller from Narrabri Anglican Church and CSIRO Cotton Breeding on science and faith. No cost.

11:00am Sunday 31 July Church in the Park: Combined Festival Church Service in Apex Park, Walgett (next to the pool). Gold coin donation for BBQ lunch.

3.30pm Sunday 31 July St John’s Collarenebri Church. Church with our Turramurra friends to end the week.
