Need help?

We all need help at times. It’s too important to not do something. Here is some help for Bible reading, what helpful suggestions can you share?

Start small, but keep growing. Begin by reading for 5 minutes per day, and gradually make it longer.

Set a time each day, and then stick at it 21 days (that’s how long they say it takes to form a habit!)

Put ‘Bible reading’ in your diary/calendar (like you do for other meetings) to prioritise meeting with God.

Be accountable: ask someone to ask you how it’s going.

Read a paragraph of Psalm 119 and pray asking for the same delight as you read the Bible.

Come to our St Peter’s Bible study group – 7.30-9:00pm Tuesday at 19 Pitt St Walgett; everyone is welcome.

Scriptures (about Scripture!) to read: Deuteronomy 30:11–20; Romans 10:1–21; 2 Tim 1:13–14; 3:12–4:4; 1 Peter 1:22–2:3; James 1:22–25.

In Christ, Tory Cayzer.
